Our Story

Built on Relationships. Driven by Purpose.

My Life Box was founded on the belief that every person — regardless of background — has the capacity to live a full, meaningful, and connected life.

Where It All Began

My Life Box grew out of a deep commitment to community. We saw young people and families struggling to find support that was culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and genuinely relational — so we built it.

What started as a small initiative in Melbourne has grown into a suite of programmes that reach schools, community groups, and individuals across the city. Every programme we run is grounded in evidence, shaped by lived experience, and delivered with heart.

We believe change happens in relationship. That's why everything we do — from our running groups to our leadership programmes — is built around connection, trust, and belonging.

Our Mission & Values

To empower individuals and communities through culturally responsive, trauma-informed programmes that build identity, resilience, and positive futures.

Relationship First

We believe genuine change happens through authentic, trusting relationships — not programmes alone.

Cultural Responsiveness

We honour the diverse backgrounds of every person we work with, ensuring our approach is relevant and respectful.

Trauma-Informed Practice

Everything we do is grounded in an understanding of trauma and its impact on identity, behaviour, and wellbeing.

Community Belonging

We create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued — because belonging is the foundation of growth.
